Job Description :
POSITION PURPOSE
• To be the Jaquar Brand Ambassador for Commercial & Outdoor
  and Decorative (C&O and D) in the assigned territory
• To do market development, create market for Jaquar C&O and D
• To establish a flourishing retail market and appoint dealers for Jaquar Lighting
• To map the retail market for COD and tracking of competitors activities. 
• To convert market potential into visible results through retail / channel sales and become the leading brand in the segment
• To develop the dealer by focusing on his clientele (Customers/Electricians/Consultants/Architects)
JOB PROFILE
• To promote entire range of Commercial &Outdoor and Decorative lighting products 
• To train dealers and their sales staff to focus on promotion of concept selling rather than doing product selling
• To ensure Maximum display at dealers showrooms in the given space 
• To establish retail network by appointing distributors and retail counters for the given territory within a fixed time frame
• To personally display to the distributor and their staff on how to pitch Jaquar Lighting products and also to maintain price discipline by selling through ready solutions, service availability and other Jaquar Lighting benefits 
• Develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients
• To maintain data in company given software of each customer handled by you at the dealers counter and to follow up till maturity / conversion to sales
• Handling promotional activities & ensuring Brochures and Pamphlets are available with Dealers & Distributors
• To be the first and responsible point of contact for any and every concern of the distributor viz. stock, price, low performance, customer care, etc.
• To handle customers leads generated from dealers / trade customers and follow up till maturity / conversion to sales
• To introduce & educate the dealers & their sales staff about the new products modification done by the company
• To support dealers & resolve their issues related to supplies, sales, policies, Customer Care & other issues
• To educate dealers key decision makers on OC support available to them & to set target for each dealer to send customers to OC
• Ensuring customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
• To maintain market database for competitors analysis and their USPs
• To establish Jaquar C&O and D among the dealers in the assigned territory
• To support Long arm force to achieve their targets and maintain the current distributor sales
• To take leads from OC & follow up till maturity / conversion to sales
• To be the first and responsible point of contact for any and every concern of the distributor viz. stock, price, low performance, customer care, etc.
• Driving secondary sales of the distributors and maintain 8 Calls per day including 5 Effective Calls per day. 

FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS 
• Technical knowledge of Lighting portfolio
• Prior experience of successfully handling counter sales and enhance network too .
• Experience of product selling
• Experience in successfully penetrating markets with new products
• Experience of doing market development and growth
• Strongly and effective follow up ability 
• Knowledge of competitor mapping
• Experience in coordinating at various levels and leading to effective result delivery
• Expertise in creating brand presence & visibility 
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets
